Community
Community Guidelines
Community is for people fasting alongside each other. Everything on it — names, avatars, group fasts and coach updates — is written by other people, so these rules apply to everyone, hosts included.
What isn’t allowed
- Offensive, hateful, sexual or abusive names and avatars.
- Harassment, bullying, or targeting anyone personally.
- Impersonating another person, a coach, or a medical professional.
- Spam, advertising, or links to anything unrelated to fasting.
- Advice that puts people at risk — including pushing anyone to fast longer than they want to, or presenting fasting as a treatment for a medical condition.
- Anything that promotes disordered eating, or frames extreme restriction as a goal.
Extra rules for hosts
- Hosting is by invitation, and it can be withdrawn at any time.
- Coach updates are broadcasts to everyone in the room — keep them supportive and safe.
- Never tell anyone to ignore how they feel, or to continue a fast when they feel unwell.
- Your profile, photo and links must be your own and accurate.
Reporting and blocking
- Tap a person’s name or avatar on Live, Finished or the Leaderboard to report or block them.
- Tap a host’s name to report or block them, or tap the ⋯ next to a coach update to report that update.
- Blocking is immediate and private — the other person is never told.
- We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break these rules.
Your safety comes first
- Nothing in Community is medical advice, and no host speaks for FastIQ.
- Leaving a group fast is always allowed, is never announced, and costs you nothing.
- Stop any fast and seek medical help if you feel faint, confused or unwell.
To report something, or to appeal a removal, email support@fastiq.fit. We respond within 24 hours.
